This morning’s Delaware County Today was packed. We began with a live weather update from WMUN meteorologist Paul Poteet, detailing travel conditions heading into Thanksgiving.
Then, Yorktown Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Greg Henshaw joined us in the studio to share major awards for district staff, updates on athletics, a long-awaited roof project, and a heartwarming spotlight on Yorktown alum Madden’s Giving Wednesday initiative.
Later in the hour, Colts Fan Man Chad Castor called in to break down Sunday’s overtime loss to the Chiefs — including what he thinks went wrong, what’s next for Indianapolis, and his Thanksgiving-week tailgate plans.

The Colts fan base needed therapy today — so we brought in the man built for it. Colts Fan Man Chad Castor joined Delaware County Today to break down the overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, question a few “interesting” penalties, and call out what some may see as the Patrick Mahomes Protection Program.
Chad also talks defense, why the offense stalled late, what the rest of the Colts schedule really looks like, and what his crew is cooking for the Thanksgiving-week tailgate. (Spoiler: not turkey.)
If you’re a Colts fan, this is the segment you listen to so you don’t scream in your car alone.

Yorktown Community Schools had a big morning inside the WMUN studio. Superintendent Dr. Greg Henshaw joined us to highlight a long list of district achievements — from state-level award-winning staff, to an emotional look at the Tigers’ football and volleyball post-season runs, and even the behind-the-scenes updates on a major roof replacement project at Yorktown High School.
We also covered Yorktown’s historic cross country accomplishments, the girls golf sectional title, the holiday schedule, and an impressive student-led community project led by alum Madden.
If you’re connected to Yorktown — as a parent, student, alum, or fan — this is for you!

“Every strong community has a strong press. That’s what we’re trying to do with WMUN. It’s a place for people to understand what’s taking place in the community. It’s a place for leaders in the community to talk about things. It’s a place for different voices in the community to bring up questions or concerns. That is something that’s been missing for some time,” J. Chapman.
