Yorktown High School Sock Drive 12/01/25

On today’s Delaware County Today, we spotlight a Yorktown tradition now in its 16th–17th year: the annual Yorktown High School Sock Drive supporting the Muncie Mission.

Economics teacher Steve Brown joined us with students Xander and Henry to share what they learned during their visit to the Mission and how the project teaches service and responsibility.

The ask is simple and needed: new men’s white crew-length socks, size 6–12.
