Hero Hayden DeLong Receives Award, 03/26/26

In early March, Hayden DeLong was at the right place, at the right time - for the Skinner family.  It was on Cornbread Road in Muncie, where he came across an accident - a head on crash, just minutes from their home.  This audio explains the situation - during a presentation of a hero award by the Delaware County Sheriff's Department.  First to speak is Chief Deputy Jeff Stanley, then the mother of the 2, and 5 year old girls, then Sheriff Tony Skinner, and Jeff Stanley, and then Hayden himself.  This ceremony happened inside the Delaware County Justice Center, March 26, 2026 - Hayden's 17th birthday.
